I grew up outside of Philadelphia, but now I live in Brooklyn, which is also outside of Philadelphia. I am an editor by day, but I’ve been writing about music on a freelance basis for years. My most recent work is online at PopMatters and in Remix Magazine. At one time or another, I’ve been a regular contributor of features and/or music criticism to XLR8R Magazine, Orlando Weekly, Phoenix New Times, Miami New Times, and more. I also worked in a research assistant capacity with acclaimed music critic Tom Moon on his 2008 book, 1,000 Recordings to Hear Before You Die.
