Published Elsewhere: Steffi, 2562, and More

I wrote about a few things recently that have gone live over at the fine PopMatters Web site. House/techno producer Steffi is better known for her mixes and DJ residencies than artist albums, but her debut is warm and seductive. Com Truise makes rubbery computer funk sounds that sometimes land close to 80s film music. On the less tangible, experimental side, Non Projects put out a.d.l.r.’s Foam on the Waves of Space Time, a boisterous debut of ambient techno and beats that squirms in its seat. I posted also in the PM Mixed Media blog about 2562’s mighty Aquatic Family Affair single — I wrote about his Unbalance for Blurt when it was released. Thanks for reading — a bunch of stuff on the horizon. Stay tuned .
